Member Account FAQ

Michigan Radio’s Membership department is excited to announce a new feature. Members will now be able to update giving information, biographical profile, select a premium, or contact the Membership team at your convenience.

If you are having trouble updating your card information online through the member account portal, please call the membership department to update your sustaining gift information.

Creating an Account

To sign up for an account, click this link.

You will be asked to confirm your name and mailing address and to create a username and password. Please allow 24 hours for approval.

How to Access Your Account

Once you have been approved, you will receive an email with a link to access your account information.

If you did not receive the link you may access the login screen here.

Initial Account Set-Up

The first time you sign into your account, please take a look at the information provided on the home page. It is also a good time to update your credit card information and to increase your gift.

NOTE: You will only have to follow these initial set-up steps the first time you manage your account. For all other changes you can follow the instructions outlined below. 

  1. Under “Your Current Gift Information” select the gift(s) you wish to modify with the new payment information.
  2. Follow the prompts and confirm the payment method you’d like to use.
  3. You have now successfully updated your payment information for that gift-thank you!

Once you have logged into your account and performed the initial set-up there are a variety of tasks that you can perform.

  • Update your Credit Card Information
    1.  Under “My Account” select “Stored Payment Info”
    2. Click “Update Information”
    3. You will be directed to a screen where you can enter your new credit card information
    4. You are not making a new gift
    5. You will receive an email confirming that your credit card has been updated
  • Change Your Gift Amount
    1. Under “Donate” select “Change Current Donation”
    2. In the box “New Amount” enter the new monthly amount (ex. If you are increasing from $10/month to $20/month) type 20 in the New Amount box)
    3. Click “Continue”
    4. To confirm the change click “Confirm”
    5. Your updated gift amount will then be submitted to Michigan Radio
  • Select a premium
    1. Under “My Account” click “Current and Past Donations”
    2. To the right of your current gift amount click “Add Premium”
    3. Select your premium from the drop down menu of items available
    4. Click “Continue”
    5. To confirm the change click “Confirm” (Note: The fair market value of the premium selected will be deducted from your overall gift and reduces the charitable gift amount)
    6. Or you may go back and edit your selection
  • Update your Name and Contact Information
    1. Under “My Account” select “My Information”
    2. Click on your name (Note: If there are multiple individuals on your account, click on the name you wish to update)
    3. Select the information you wish to update
    4. Click “Continue”
    5. You will see the information before and after the change
    6. To confirm the change click “Confirm”
  • Update your Password
    1. Under “My Account” click “Change Password”
    2. Enter your current password in the box “Old Password”
    3. Enter your new password in the box “New Password”
    4. Re-enter your new password in the box “Confirm New Password”
    5. Click “Update Password”
    6. You will receive an email notifying you that your password as been changed
